| Annual Trip: U.S.S. Yorktown Aircraft Carrier
This year our annual pack trip will be to the U.S.S. Yorktown
Aircraft Carrier which is docked near Charleston, South Carolina.
We won't just be visiting the ship, oh no. We'll be SPENDING THE NIGHT
on the ship!
Here's the scoop:
- MLK Weekend, January 15-17, 2005
- Saturday afternoon arrival (can drive up on Saturday morning, no
need for a hotel room Friday night unless you want to)
- Sleep on Aircraft Carrier U.S.S. Yorktown for 2 nights
- All Sunday meals and Monday breakfast included
- Explore ships, subs, cutters and enjoy a boat cruise to Fort Sumter
- Siblings under 6 are NOT allowed to sleep onboard the ship; we can
reserve a few hotel rooms nearby
- Cost is $70 per person (adults, scouts, siblings, etc.) for anyone
staying on the carrier
- Day tickets to U.S.S. Yorktown available for those not staying
on the ship... under 6 are free for daily carrier tour
